  • Megan Crummett, Co-Founder

    Megan lives in the greater Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington area. Megan is thrilled about expanding the Moxie community, fundraising, and organizing fantastic events. She lives with her husband, their son, and their dog. Born with eight digits missing due to amniotic band syndrome, some of Megan's favorite pastimes include hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, boating, wake boarding, curling up with a good book, dancing, and playing with her son.

  • Lisa DeWeert, Co-Founder & Podcast Host

    Located in Chicago, IL, Lisa loves making connections, sharing stories, and producing events. She currently works in ministry full-time and teaches several college communication courses. She was born with smaller muscles in her arms/hands, and would love for you to join her on the journey of navigating what it means to have a limb difference!​​​​​​​​

  • Christiana Lederman, Co-Founder

    Christiana lives in sunny Tucson, Arizona, with her wife. Born without her left hand and forearm, she knows just how important a community of people with similar experiences is, and enjoys creating spaces for women with limb differences to connect and grow. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, horseback riding, reading, thrifting, and eating ice cream. Most of all, she’s excited that you’re here with us!

  • Melissa

    Melissa, based in South Florida, works in compensation for a social media marketing firm. In her spare time, she enjoys planning travel, adores her dog Milo, and considers shopping a hobby.

  • Madisyn

    Madisyn lives in San Diego, CA. She works as a model, yoga instructor, and coaches rock climbing for children with disabilities. Her passions include traveling the globe and discovering the beauty of nature!

  • Kelli

    Kelli, a speaker and coach in Los Angeles, California, is dedicated to helping others build resilience and regain confidence and purpose. She enjoys traveling, heated yoga classes, and chocolate or coffee!

  • Morgan

    Morgan resides in upstate New York with her service dog, Wolf the Fifth. With a lifelong background in PR and research, she travels and speaks publicly for hospitals and non-profit boards. Her favorite color is purple, and she always carries Sour Patch Kids with her!

  • Sarah M

    Sarah, a Partner Marketing professional at Zapier in New York City, enjoys long walks with her rescue dog River, exploring new restaurants, and reading romance novels in her free time.

  • Allie

    Allie is an adaptive yogi based in Charlottesville, VA, who enjoys rock climbing, cooking, fashion, and watching beautiful moonrises.

  • Courtney

    Courtney resides in the greater Chicago area and is happily fulfilling her dream of being a mom. In her spare time, she loves to craft and swim.

  • Meaghan

    Meaghan resides in the greater Chicago area. At the age of 12, she experienced an amputation above her knee, which sparked her passion for adaptive sports. Since 2021, she has been competing nationally in climbing. Currently, Meaghan works as a clinical psychologist, specializing in children and adolescents.

  • Nicole

    Nicole lives in the Chicago area and is passionate about mentoring children with limb differences and disabilities. She is dedicated to creating spaces where every child feels seen, supported, and included.

  • Nicky

    Nicky lives in the greater Chicago area and loves exploring new places and hiking outdoors with her husband and their two fur babies. Nothing makes her happier than being outside and discovering new adventures together.

  • Mahdis

    Mahdis joined Moxie because she believes people with disabilities deserve more than inclusion - we deserve to design, innovate, and shape spaces around us.
